This tour takes in a wonderful range of festive markets to tempt the discerning shopper.
Day 1 London to Liège
Lunchtime Eurostar from St Pancras to Brussels before arriving at Liège for four nights.
Day 2 Valkenburg Christmas Market
Cross the Dutch border to picturesque Valkenburg which boasts the oldest and largest subterranean Christmas Market in Europe, known as the Gemeentegot or Town Cave. You may also wish to ride the Valkenburg Steam Railway.
Day 3 Liège Christmas Market
With more than 180 stalls to take in, Belgium’s largest Christmas village in Liège is a great place to sample local produce amidst a festive atmosphere and illuminations.
Day 4 Cologne Christmas Markets
Visit Cologne which offers no less than seven Christmas Markets to explore including one situated around the glorious Cologne Cathedral.
Day 5 Return to London
Journey home by rail via Brussels and Eurostar to London.
