A train that never falls short of promising you a royal experience, the Maharajas' Express features carriages with Deluxe Cabins, six Junior Suites, two Suites and one Grand Presidential Suite. Each has large panoramic windows allowing you to savour every bit of magnificent India. Enjoy individual temperature controls, televisions & DVD players, direct dial telephone and internet. In-house movies and live television also keep you entertained during the journey and you will be equipped with complimentary sightseeing kits such as bottle coolers, pith hats and shoe uppers on days out. The Maharajas' Express has two fine dining restaurants that allowing everyone on board to dine together. Relax in one of two bars including an exotic Safari bar and the lounge bar Rajah Club with comfortable club arm-chairs and there is even a high-end boutique featuring exquisite and unique creations. Day 1 – Board the Train at Delhi onto Agra
Following registration formalities and a traditional welcome we board the luxury train. Enjoy a relaxing brunch on board before arriving in Agra, known as the 'City of Mughal Splendour'. In the the afternoon we will explore the exquisite Taj Mahal before enjoying a dinner on the train.
Day 2 – Agra-Ranthambore
Early morning visit to the Agra Fort or visit Itmad-Ud-Daula. As our journey continues, sit back and enjoy the countryside whilst tasting onboard culinary delights before arriving at our next destination Ranthambore. On arrival we will have lunch before embarking on an exciting game drive into the Ranthambore National Park for some tiger spotting.
Day 3 – Jaipur
A visit to the Amber Fort is a must when in Jaipur and we have the added attraction of enjoying an enthralling exhibition elephant polo match before lunching at an exclusive venue. In the afternoon you may want to shop for fine jewellery & textiles or indulge in a rejuvenating Spa treatment or visit the City Palace and Jantar-Mantar – all optional activities.
Day 4 – Delhi
Breakfast on board as you arrive into Delhi. Bid farewell to the Maharajas’ Express.
