Meet the Travel Team
Many of you will be familiar with Ffestiniog Travel’s team members, having liaised with them when planning and booking your rail holidays
and train journeys with us. Some have been with the company for many years and have benefitted from its in-house training opportunities
and moved up the ranks to take on more travel responsibilities – an indication of their growing expertise and continued dedication to
Ffestiniog Travel and its customers.
Alan Heywood
Our long-standing customers will be familiar with
Alan, who founded the company 50 years ago in
1974. Alan was instrumental in researching and Awel Muscroft
creating many of our rail holidays. More recently Having joined Ffestiniog Travel in 2015 as UK Rail
as a director of the Ffestiniog Travel Board he Ticketing Consultant, Awel now holds the position
has developed our Small & Traditional tour range of Tailored and Escorted Tours Consultant. A jour-
which began in 2009 when he escorted his first ney on the Bernina Express in Switzerland remains

Maria Cook Josh Evans

Kate Berry
Senior Travel Consultant who joined the company

from Darwin to Adelaide in Australia.
