Meet the Travel team

Many of you will be familiar with Ffestiniog Travel’s team members, having liaised with them when planning and booking your rail holidays and train journeys with us. Some have been with the company for many years and have benefitted from its in-house training opportunities and moved up the ranks to take on more travel responsibilities – an indication of their growing expertise and continued dedication to Ffestiniog Travel and its customers.

Awel Muscroft

Awel MuscroftHaving joined Ffestiniog Travel in 2015 as UK Rail Ticketing Consultant, Awel now holds the position of Tailored and Escorted Tours Consultant. A journey on the Bernina Express in Switzerland remains a firm favourite. 

 

Josh Evans

Josh EvansJosh joined the company in 2018 as a Travel Consultant and works on various destinations and tour itineraries. His standout rail journey was on the gravity defying Breinzer Rothorn cog railway in Switzerland.

 

Helen Ciz

Helen CizHelen joined Ffestiniog Travel in 2023 as a Travel Consultant. Her role is primarily administration however she will also cover Tailored and Escorted tour enquiries. Helen has gained lots of experience from her personal travels and her favourite rail journey to date is in rural Goa, India.

 

Tracy Layton

Tracy LaytonTracy joined the team in 2023 and is a Tailored and Escorted Tours Consultant who has over 30 years of working in the travel industry. Her favourite destination is Quebec City, Canada and favourite rail journey is either Montreal to Quebec City or more locally, the line between Porthmadog and Aberystwyth on the Cambrian Coast.
