We take the train across Europe, via Cologne, to explore Poland. Ride on Warsaw's trams, visit Chabowka Heritage Park, spend time at Auschwitz and see the incredible Wieliczka Salt Mines. Our return journey is via Berlin where we visit the Technology Museum.

Relive a bygone age when rural life meant working fields with horses, stacking hay in haystacks and preparing meals from home grown produce. Visit remote Saxon villages with their fortified churches in Transylvania, enjoy village life in Maramureș and the painted monasteries of Bucovina. Stay in family run “homestay” accommodation and ride three steam narrow gauge railways.
Trains of Eastern France

This trip to France concentrates on the Eastern half of the country, venturing down to Valence and Tournon with the Vivarais railways. We then travel to Beaune and Mulhouse, visiting the Chemin de Fer de Vallee de L’Ouche where we have the opportunity to “run our own railway”.
