After the unavoidable long-haul flight to Australia via Singapore the last thing you will want to do is take an internal flight. So why not discover a part of this beautiful continent by train and visit the three very different but interesting cities of Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. Enjoy the raw scenic beauty of this country from the comfort of the train and en route sample Australia's many pleasures - its food, wine, city culture and outdoor lifestyle.


Day 1

Depart UK from your chosen airport to Singapore.

Day 2

On arrival in Singapore you will be met and transferred to your city centre hotel.

Day 3

This morning a pre-arranged half day sightseeing excursion of the city has been arranged which will take you through the heart of colonial Singapore, passing the Padang with it's cricket pavilion, Parliament House, Singapore's oldest government building, Supreme Court and City Hall. On to Chinatown with its temples and rows of traditional shops, then over to Mount Faber for a bird's eye view of the world's busiest port before a drive to the National Orchid Garden followed by a drive past Little India.

Day 4

Free Day to explore the area.

Day 5

Early morning transfer back to the airport for your daytime flight to Melbourne. On arrival, a private transfer has been arranged taking you to your Melbourne hotel where you will be staying for the next 4 nights. Also included in your city stay is a Smart-Card which will entitle you to enter various venues such as Melbourne's Cricket Ground.

Day 6 and 7

You can use the smart-card to explore during your free days.

Day 8

A Full Day trip on the Yarra Valley Wine Experience.

Day 9

Morning transfer to the railway station for the "Overland" train from Melbourne to Adelaide. On arrival at Adelaide, a transfer to your hotel has been arranged. A city centre hotel will be your home for the next 4 nights.

Day 10

This morning you join the Adelaide Half Day City Tour which will give you an idea on what you can explore further during your free time.

Day 11

Free day.

Day 12

A Full Day Barossa Valley Tour which will allow you to experience Australia's famous wine region and even taste some of its produce! Lunch included.

Day 13

Free day before you transfer over to the railway station and board the Indian Pacific train to Perth this evening. Accommodation in Gold Kangaroo Class with all meals included.

Day 14

On board the India Pacific.

Day 15

Arrive in Perth and transfer to hotel.

Day 16

Free day.

Day 17

A morning tour of Perth & Freemantle with the rest of the day free.

Day 18

A Full day excursion to Swan Valley including a Gourmet Cruise. Cruise from the city and enjoy the premium wine tasting from local wineries finishing off the day with a visit to a Chocolate Factory. Lunch is also included.

Day 19

Free morning with an afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight back to the UK.

Day 20

Arrival back into your choice of UK airport.
