- The Dylan Thomas Centre is well worth a visit and has a permanent exhibition on his life as well as a restaurant where you can have lunch
- From Swansea we suggest you take a return rail and bus journey via Camarthen to Laugharne to visit the boathouse, now a museum, where Dylan spent the last years of his life
- To extend your trip and for a scenic train journey onwards why not take the Heart of Wales Line to the historic city of Shrewsbury. It is often described as travelling through the ‘land of poets’
